Dylan's Christmas Recital.....

Dylan had his piano recital at Mrs. Marie's home. He did a fantastic job and is getting really good at playing the piano. I love to hear him play and Marie always has such a quaint recital at her home and serves the best homemade brownies. Great job Dylan!

Star Wars........

Our family was so excited for the new Star Wars Movie. A few days before we saw the movie, Mike had heard on the news about a Darth Vater snowman in South Jordan. We were amazed at how awesome it was. The detail of the snowman was amazing and this just got us more excited for the movie.
Our friends were able to get us 4 tickets for only 20 dollars on the day after the movie's release date. We were all anticipating the movie and I'm glad we were able to see it all together the first time. The boys have now viewed the movie twice. I let Dylan and Max take Tate after Christmas all alone. They had a great time and ate way too much popcorn.
Dylan with Chewbacca in Stars Wars attire.
Tate with Finn. He was so relieved he was able to see the movie sooner then later.
All ready to see the film. Dressed in the proper attire, with popcorn, a drink, and Mom and Dad. What else could a kid want. Tate actually said it was like Christmas.
In October, we went to see the movie Goosebumps. It had come highly recommended from one of the Dr.'s I work with. We had to test drive the D box, but the boys weren't sure about them so we opted for regular seats. We were all alone in the theater since the boys were off track.

Our family loves to watch movies together. We watch many movies from home on our projector and if you were to ask the boys, they like watching the movies at home instead of at the theater. We can't wait until the Star Wars movie comes out on video. Mike's favorite movie last year was a tie between Star Wars and The Martian. We watched the Martian a few nights ago with the boys. They loved it. My favorite movie was Bridge of Spies. Dylan's was Star Wars and Tate's was a tie between Star Wars and Goosebumps. We also like Inside Out.

July 24th.....

Grandpa and Grandma Rowley came up to celebrate the 24th of July. We had a blast with them. Mike met us at the Bee's Game in the evening and we went with our cousins. We watched the fireworks after the game and it was the perfect end to a fun day.

Dylan enjoying his shake. We waited a long time in line to get him a shake.

We went to Gardner Village and Tate fell in love with this Bear. He really wanted it.

Grandpa and Grandma being silly at Gardner Village.
Tate wanted to sit by Uncle Nick during the parade. It was a great view, since Nick lived right along the parade route. It was fun to be at the Pioneer Days of 47 Parade. We can check that off on our bucket list. After the parade, the kids went swimming with their cousins in Nick's apartment pool. They were wiped out.
Dylan chose to sit right in the middle between Grandpa and Grandma and the rest of us. Silly kid!

How to treat a Lady....

Mike and I went on a date and Dylan was with a friend, so we had Taylor, our cute neighbor, come over and watch Tate. It was raining and Tate was so concerned that Taylor would get wet walking home across the street. He walked her home carrying the umbrella over her. It was the sweetest thing! We hope the boys always show respect to girls like this.

Cherry Hill Fun night......

We met our close friends, Tiff and the kids, on a hot Summer day and played at Cherry Hill. We all had a great time eating pizza, swimming in the lazy river, going down the river run, playing laser tag, and rock climbing. We love getting together and now since they have moved to Slaterville, we meet up in the Farmington area at least once a month. The kids love being together.
Dylan and Owen miss each other, so when they are together they never want the time to end.
Tate mastered the rock climbing once again.

A Shaved Ice kind of Day......

These boys loved Lana's Shave Ice stand in July. When I arrived home from work we would take a little trip to get a shave ice with the neighbor boys. Tate has been blessed with great friends in our neighborhood.

The Fun Run.....

The Fun Run for the school was held in the Fall. Mike was able to go and support the boys. They both were little runners and Mike was able to run a few laps with each of them. Grateful for a Dad who is so involved with his boys. They said it made it fun to have their Dad there.

Funtopia with Fun Friends.....

One day last Summer, I loaded these crazy boys in the van and headed to Funtopia to take out all the boy energy.

 Dylan and Max.
 Tate and Matt.

Jaxon and Dylan climbing a wall...

Dylan made it to the top.
Tate building the blocks to climb on. He is attatched to a safety rope.
Tate and Matt climbing the rope. They were awesome and climbed higher than Dylan and his friends.

Climbing to the top. They were up to the rafters.
 Jumping on the swinging rope.
 Harnessed and ready to go.
Tate giving me the signal that he needs three more minutes before we leave.

Dylan coming down the high slide.
Tate coming down the high slide.
This would be Tate holding on tightly.
Look mom I can climb. He loves climbing up things and is really good at rock climbing.

For the love of Waffle Love....

Our family loves food trucks. Tate's favorite food truck is Waffle Love and Dylan loves the Ramen Mobile. One Friday night they happened to be parked by each other and so we had a food truck competition in the Green Family.

Tate giving two thumbs up for the Waffle Love truck.
Dylan is all about the Ramen Mobile truck.

The Americana Lego Showcase......

Last March, we went to the Mall to see the the Americana Lego Showcase. It was so neat and exciting to see what the Lego Master Builders had created. The boys told Mike they wanted to go home and build the Statue of Liberty.

Dylan stood in awe for a long period of time and began to examine how to build this masterpiece. He and Tate did make a small version of the Statue of Liberty.

The boys were able to build a car and then race them. And then, of coarse, we had to visit the Lego Store. These boys love Legos!
