The Witch Ride at Gardner Village

For family night we went with Pappa and Nanna Green to the see the witches at Gardner Village. It was fun to be together and we rode on a horse drawn carriage with a witch named, "Matilda." We told Dylan that if he keeps picking his nose then he may turn green like Matilda's face. We hope it SCARED him enough not to pick.

Is it a transformer or a Chicago Bears fan?

Ok, a friend told me that blogging can become an addiction. I am starting to believe her. Dylan has been dressing up in all types of attire lately. I woke up a week ago to a miniature transformer in my face and he has worn the outfit so much that it has actually torn in the back. Maybe I should stop blogging and start sewing..ya, whatever! Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Green for the transformer outfit. He loves it. He told me the other day, "mom I can just wear it when we go to Smith's." Grandpa Rowley you will be happy to know that he wears his Chicago Bears attire whenever the Bears play. Yes, now our family is into the Sunday night football games. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Rowley for the Bears attire. Dylan shows his friends that he is, "the Hester player for the Bears."

Bingham Canyon Copper Mines

Mike has taken some time off work and we have been having a vacation. We went to the Bingham Canyon Copper Mines, and if any of you have not been it is really interesting and the boys loved it. They have HUGE dump trucks and it is open pit mining. Dylan keeps asking when we can go back. Upcoming events for mom to blog is a trip to Park City. Mike and I were originally going to go to Hawaii during this time to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. However, we were a little nervous to leave Tate and figured we would wait until next year when he is a little older. Hawaii will always be there and babies grow so FAST. We did not want to miss his possible first little steps.

Fun pictures of Tate

These are some fun pictures of Tate. He is crawling all over and just started pulling to stand. Just click on the box in the upper left corner.

Dylan turns 4

Our little Dylan is now 4. Unbelievable! For his party we went bowling with the Green family and then daddy took a few of his friends to see the movie, "Star Wars - the Clone Wars." We had a bowling cake and Dylan blew out all his candles. It was a fun day. We celebrated his birthday with the Rowley family when we went down to Parowan over Labor Day weekend. We forgot our camera on the trip and we wished we would have had it because we had so much fun and made many great memories. Thanks Colby and Toni for the wonderful reunion and thanks Grandpa and Grandma for having it at your house. Mike and Dylan camped in a tent and mommy and Tate stayed at Grandma Orton's. We had fun at the carnival and the rodeo, but we really liked playing kickball with everyone and just being together as a family. Mike did awesome running the 5K and we were so proud of him. He ran with Chase, Chelsey, Colby and Toni and they all did great. We will need to make this a tradition too. Dylan only wishes that Payton could have come home with him.

Other summer memories

For the 4th of July we had Grandpa and Grandma Rowley and the Young family come and celebrate the holiday with us. It was a blast. We went to the parade, to our neighborhood barbecue, to the fireworks and to the Buzz game. We wished it could have only lasted longer. Thanks for coming and staying with us Grandpa and Grandma and the Young family. We will have to make this a tradition!

We finally started our blog

We gave into eveyone's demands and started a blog. We are now up and running and it was actually alot of fun for Mike and I. We still don't know what were doing so send us your ideas and thoughts. We have had so much fun this summer and the boys have had huge milestones so we are going to share some of the past summer with you. We went to Lagoon in July and had so much fun. We met up with the Pratt family and we all had a blast. We will be going back for "Frightmares," for sure.
