Bear Camp.......

Dylan went to Bear Camp for two days in July. Mike was able to go with him for a day and Dylan was happy his dad could go. He is still talking about what a great time they had.

The 4th of July.....

We had a great 4th of July! We went to Parowan and played with family non-stop. We went to Brian Head for the fireworks and they were amazing.  We are blessed with amazing family and I must say I have some great sis-n-laws. We also went 4 wheeling, went to the St. George Temple, played card games and family games into the late night hours, and went to the Arts Festival at Brian Head.
Cool pic of Payton and Dylan with the fireworks.
 Tate being Tate.
I captured this great photo of Ty digging for gold. He is silly like Tate. They make everyone laugh.

The Twins.....

Sweet Emmy and Handsome Max joined the Rowley family this summer. The Young family was blessed with these sweet babies. The boys just love holding them and we adore them. It has been a good experience for the boys to be around the babies.  There will most likely be a few more babies that join the family which is awesome for the boys. They enjoy being with their cousins and they are learning  all about babies. We spent three weekends this summer with them at different occasions. These photos were taken over the 4th of July weekend and the babies were blessed on Sunday.
Dylan holding Emmy. She loves to be held.
Tate holding Emmy. I believe Max was sleeping during the time I snapped some photos.

Dylan wanted to make a collage on my phone with the babies and he did a great job.

A Snow Hike.....

One Sunday after Church in the middle of April we went on a hike thinking the snow would be gone and that we could enjoy the Spring weather.  Not so....This is Silver Lake and it was covered in snow. We were all wearing shorts and, luckily, Dad suggested that we bring jackets. We enjoy hiking as a family and Tate was still determined to complete the hike with his walking stick. We have beautiful mountains in Utah.
 Tate and his walking stick....
It was a beautiful scene with the snow melting and the clouds above. The mountain air is the best!

Swimming, Swimming, Swimming, and More Swimming.......

It has been a busy summer with a short time between tracks. Tate has lived in the water every chance he has had. He loves swimming! We took classes again from Mrs. Aimee and her daughter. Mrs. Aimee suggested that we put Tate in a little swim team. We are looking into it, but he still keeps busy with Karate as well and we don't want to run him ragged with adjusting to an all day school schedule. Perhaps, this coming Winter we will put him on a little swim team. He is a great swimmer and is fast. Mrs. Aimee was shocked that he could easily swim the length of her pool while staying under the water for a good length of time. He was born a fish. He has always loved the water.

Working on the back stroke. He passed it off.

Jumping off the diving board. Tate would then swim the length of the pool and come up for air once or twice. Like a fish:)
I had to take a photo of the American Girl Dolls that also watched swimming classes. This cute little girl had a sibling in the class and would set the dolls up at every lesson. It was really funny.

Kindergarten Graduation....

This is a throwback to Kindergarten Graduation. I have fallen very far behind on my blogging duties :).

The entire Kindergarten performed for parents and then the other school children. The performance was great! Tate is front and center wearing a peach shirt. He had a special part in the program and he did a fantastic job. Grandpa and Grandma Green also came and Tate felt very special.

They sang many cute songs and they all sat still, which is remarkable for their ages.

Tate with Daddy after the graduation.
A few parents asked if I would go in the classroom and take photos of Mrs. Lauritzen with the class. I was able to snap a few photos and then we gave her the photos in a nice photo frame. She is an amazing teacher and the year flew by so quickly. We just love her and lucky for us, we get to see her often since she lives in our Stake.

They all blew her a kiss.

The Traditional King's Feast for School......

We had our traditional King's Feast on Sunday night as the kids started school on Monday. We had a delicious dinner with the meal planned by these two handsome boys. On the menu was grilled salmon, Caesar salad, brown rice, and Grandma Marsha's trifle for dessert. It was delicious. We talked about the up-coming school year and what each family members goals are for the school year. Dylan wants to learn pre-algebra(he loves math) and Tate wants to "be a fast reader." After dinner, Mike gave each of the boys a Father's Blessing. It was a great King's Feast!

 Love Dylan's smile!

So adorable with that missing tooth.
Here are the crown's they made this year with dad's help.

School resumes......

School resumes... and the three weeks we have had off track have flown by. Trying to catch up on the blog once again. It has been a busy summer and we have made so many memories. I hope to blog about a few of them.
The boys are now on C track and it will be a different schedule than we have been used to. They have not complained once about returning back in July.  Tate will be in 1st grade and his teachers are Ms. McCall in the afternoon, and in the morning he will be in the Spanish immersion class with Mrs. Cerezo-Berbel, who is from Spain. He is so happy to be able to walk to school with Dylan in the morning and to come home with his brother after school. Tate also thinks that school lunch is the best idea known to man. He is already counting to ten in Spanish and using a few Spanish words. I think our entire family will benefit as we are learning some Spanish through Tate. Mike is digging it and freshening up on his Spanish. We are impressed with both of his teachers. He told his dad that, "everyday is 100% positive." I have been amazed that he does not come home tired, but he still is active and it does not seem that all day in school has been an adjustment for him.  Dylan will be in 4th grade and his teacher is Mrs. Beltz. At back to school night she had her classroom decked out in rock music decor. Dylan is enjoying having her as a teacher and he was so concerned that he would not know anyone in his class. He knew a few kids, but is making new friends quickly and has already started asking for play dates with some of his classmates. It sounds like he will have a few major reports throughout the year, which is a little strange that he is excited about that.
SO HERE IS TO THE 2014-2015 SCHOOL YEAR!  (they grow up so quick!)

Dylan 2014

The sun was really bright that day and Mike took the photos and sent them off, since I was called to Jury Duty. He took some great photos! We are so blessed he can work from home.
