Tate's Baptism

Tate entered the waters of baptism and received the gift of the Holy Ghost on October 31st (Halloween). He was so excited to become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We are so proud that he made this decision and hope that he will remember this day forever. When we asked him what the best part of the day was he told us it, "was looking up out of the water (the font) and seeing all his family and friends and feeling a warm feeling inside." He also told us, "I didn't want to get out of the water because it felt so warm everywhere." When he received the Holy Ghost he said, "I loved having my Dad, Grandpa's, and Uncle's there. I knew I was choosing the right."  As Tate was preparing for baptism, we had many Family Home Evenings discussing the great gift of baptism and of the Holy Ghost. He was ready to be blessed by our Heavenly Father.  It was a beautiful day and we loved having our family and friends present.  We love you Tate!

Dylan helped to prepare Tate for baptism by teaching him at a few Family Home Evenings about what baptism meant and how the Holy Ghost guides us. They have a great relationship and I know Tate looks to Dylan as an example.
A picture of Dylan and a few cousins before the baptism. I was thankful that Avery took my camera and took some photos of the day. Thanks Avery.

Dad and Tate. Tate loved that Mike was able to baptize him. We are so grateful for the Priesthood and that Mike values it so much. We all love him and his example. He is such a great dad and husband.

I loved this picture when I saw it. Dylan is such a strong support for Tate and was hugging him throughout the day.

Grandpa Green with Mike and Tate. We are blessed with great parents and the boys are blessed that they have such wonderful Grandparents.

Our family....We are blessed in so many ways.

Tate's friends came and supported him, as well. He has great friends.
