A FUN DAY AT THE COPPER MINE........
Uncle Lucas, Aunt Candace, and Ty went with us to see the Bingham Copper Mine. The boys love to see the big trucks at work and we love spending time with family.

Dylan and Ty were admiring all the classic tonka trucks that were on display. It was really hard to just look and not play with these admired trucks.

You have to ride the bus shuttle now to get to the mine. Dylan, Tate, and Ty thought the bus was pretty cool and there were many commentary conversations between them. Pretty cute and fun!

The Lemonade Stand..........

The "huddle of boys" that gather at our home on sunny summer afternoons were so excited when they saw the brownies and the lemonade stand that our neighbors were operating. The boys came to me asking for some money to make their purchases. They told me that prices were $0.75 for brownies and $1.00 for lemonade. Max said, "It is just a little expensive." I gave 7 little boys money for either a brownie or lemonade.

They took off running down the sidewalk and when I went to check things out I found that they had increased the price by about 50% (the boys of course).
They were so excited that they were able to get a brownie AND lemonade since the prices were actually lower then reported.
Needless to say they left the little LEMONADE and Brownie STAND empty. I had them take more packets of lemonade to the owners.

Sweet Summertime.........

The boys have been enjoying the SWEET SUMMERTIME! Mom and Dad have been trying to keep them occupied and busy. The little clown and his stuffed animals that family won for him at Lagoon. He has named them "Arthur and Franklin." He is full of imagination. Oh and how could we forget the Green Hornet mask?
He also scares many of his friends away with his infamous squirt gun. We have had many neighborhood squirt gun fights in our backyard this Summer.
The typical summer afternoon in our backyard. This little huddle of boys reminds me of the movie "Sandlot." I just hope we don't have a large dog named Hercules chasing after them for a baseball.

We have also been splashing around in the water this Summer. Tate loves the water and will be taking his first set of swim lessons in August. Dylan was thrilled to see Mrs. Amy and Mrs. Emily again at the Guy's swim lesson event.

Celebrating America with Fireworks and Family......

We had a fun 4th of July weekend with family. We love to be with cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents, especially when it involves Lagoon, fireworks, movies, good food(even Grandpa's favorite "Up-Chuck-A-rama"), and the Living Planet Aquarium.
Uncle B and his cute girlfriend, Lindsay. We highly approve of her and Tate even called her Uncle Lindsay. He also wanted Aunt Bridgette to sleep in his room. Unfortunately, we missed Aunt Bridgette and Uncle Nick who are in Texas. Tate loves his Uncles and their cute girls/wives. I think it is because my Brothers marry blondes and Tate has a thing for blondes.

Tate and Ty on the train ride. The train ride was a favorite.
Two smiling boys with their Grandpa.
I loved this wall at the Veteran's Memorial Park where we saw the fireworks this year. I thought I would share. Thanks to all those who have served and serve our Country presently so we can have the Freedom we have to enjoy times like these!

Last day of Kindergarten

Forgive the horrible photography; Tate was experimenting with the camera and I thought it would make a great memory. Dylan was not excited about Kindergarten ending. He had an emotional week and Mike compared it to a "13 year old female with hormones." We did plant a forget me not flower in our yard and Dylan gave the same type of flower to Mrs. Lauritzen. This seemed to help the grieving process of leaving Kindergarten. Now he is excited to start first grade.
