OUR ANNUAL "KING'S FEAST"...............
Dylan has been reminding me about having the "King's Feast," at least a month before school even started. We had our feast the first day of school. The boys made their crowns this year with Daddy and we had a great time discussing our goals for the up-coming school and preschool year. We had lemon pepper salmon(Dylan's favorite food), steamed green beans and artichoke dip with pita chips. For dessert we had angel's food cake with strawberries. You can see that Tate colored a little more then just his crown this year:)

We love this tradition and I am glad Mike and I started it a year ago. It has become a fun family event.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BABE..............
Our Wedding Day....13 years ago. It was the best day and I can't believe it has really been that long ago. I still remember some words of advice that were given to us and they were something to the effect of.... you will love each other more the longer you are married. You will have joys, sorrows, laughter, trials, times of growth, and you will create wonderful memories. All this brings a love which is unconditional and strong and that is true happiness.
For our Anniversary we traveled to St. George (where we were married) and went to Tuacahn. We had a nice romantic dinner and then stayed in the same suite we had on our wedding night. Colby and Toni watched the little guys and we appreciate them for taking care of them.

We saw "Grease" and both of us really enjoyed it. Mike loved all the motorbikes and cars. I loved the music.
Danny and Sandy posing for a picture after the play.

Love you Babe and I can't wait to see what the next 13 years will bring!

Our fun trip to San Antonio......

Mike had a business trip in San Antonio and wanted me to travel with him. He travels at least once a month now with his job and he goes to some exciting places. At first I was reluctant since it was Dylan's fist week of returning to school. Then I realized that it was my little brother's B-Day and he is currently residing in San Antonio with his cute wife. My close girlfriend then offered to watch the boys when Mike mentioned to her that he wanted me to go with him. Thanks Kate and Paul for adding two additional kids for two days and for all the carpooling. These friends are like our family so the boys were nothing but thrilled about the whole thing.
A late night walk at the River Walk. It was so fun to be together and Mike kept informing me how glad he was that I had decided to go.
This may look familiar. It was in the movie "Miss Congeniality."
We did not travel into this place or the "Coyote Ugly Bar." I just liked the sign:)
Our great tour guides and the Birthday boy. It was so great to spend time with them and to see San Antonio. We loved San Antonio and I have to say the shopping there is incredible (I had relaxing time doing this while the hubby was in meetings and the shuttle driver from the Hotel gave me a ride back to the airport just in time to meet Mike).

Dylan's second birthday cake and celebration in Southern Utah....

Dylan's Birthday is on August 20th and we were in Southern Utah so we had another celebration for his birthday. He was excited to celebrate with cousins and family. He had a sleep over at his cousins home and my brother and sister in-law were awesome to entertain him. He still keeps telling us about swimming and going out for ice cream (Mike and I were celebrating our Anniversary at Tuacahn). Here is the first "blowing out the candles" event. Mike told Dylan that he was able to make several wishes for his birthday with all the candles he blew out.

Notice cute little Reagan in her mermaid attire. She likes to dress up like Mr. T.
Here is Dylan at Grandma and Grandpa Rowley's house blowing out candles once again. He really had a special birthday. He loved the Megamind Wii game from Grandpa and Grandma. Mom and Dad gave him the Star Wars Lego fighter. This kid loves Legos and the Wii!

The Despicable Me Birthday Party for the 7 year old Mr. D
Mr. D at his party. He was so excited and was thrilled to be with family and friends.
Watching "Despicable Me" at the end of the party.

The kids loved the games. We played pin the goggles on the minion, a little bowling game where you knocked the minions down, and a Nerf carnival game. Miss Ellie, Dylan's cousin won this little game.
Grandpa Green saved the day by finishing the minion twinkies. I was really busy right before the party and Grandpa started creating the cutest faces on the minions. Thanks Grandpa and we will remember how artistic you are. Thanks to Grandma Green and to Dylan's wonderful dad for helping. Kate also took many great photos as I was busy entertaining.

The little minion twinkies/cupcakes. These were really fun to make.

IT'S CAPTAIN AMERICA....(IN HIS BROTHER'S BIRTHDAY GIFT!)

Mr. D was very excited when he opened the Captain America Costume at his birthday party. Mr. T was thrilled and immediately took the attire. Sure enough soon he was asking for a bath and had his pajamas on with the shield and the mask. He has been asking for this costume for his birthday in October. As soon as we came home from church Mr. T was dressed in his famous shirt and the costume yet again.

Here he is again in the FULL attire. He told me, "mom it's 4-5 in size." I hated to inform him that it is JUST a bit to large since the tag clarifies 7-8 in size.
This little boy is even sleeping in the costume. Can't wait to get him out of it when it is bed time. Maybe, dad will be helping him in his pajamas tonight. LOL. Thanks Landon for Mr. D and Mr. T's birthday gift. Much to our surprise Mr. D has been a great brother and has let Mr. T model the outfit all day. We hope it lasts since it will not be coming off anytime soon.

NO WAY YOU ARE MY ............COUSIN?
We went to the Orton Family Reunion. There were about 110 relatives there and these two little boys were so delighted that they were able to meet. They were even more impressed that they share the same name and that they are both 7 years old. And Mr. D could not get over the fact that they spelled their names just alike. Dylan Green and Dylan Orton.......Pretty cool! I think that they will be looking for each other at the next reunion because Mr. D can't stop talking about the, "cousin named Dylan who is the same age."

Happy 85th Birthday Great Grandma O......

We were able to celebrate this amazing lady's Birthday with family. She is a woman that I greatly admire. I love to hear her stories and to spend time with her. I can't believe she is 85! I think she looks great for her age. We had a fun party at Uncle Tony's home to celebrate. Tate loves his Grandma! (and the camera).

Having fun on the trampoline. Notice who is the biggest kid.....that would be Uncle B and the boys love that he is just like them (:

Look what I built...........

Mr. D is Mr. creativity. He will spend hours building legos and knex objects; or in his own words, "designing something." He is always amazing us with his creations.

He made this for Mr. T. Mr. T always has a toy to play with that was made by Mr. D.
